Dear Valued Patient,
We are writing to inform you of an important change regarding our relationships with dental insurance providers. Beginning January 1, 2026, our office will no longer be considered in-network with any dental insurance companies & this includes all discount plans.
Here’s what this means for you:
- We will still file claims on your behalf as a courtesy.
- You are responsible for payment in full.
- In some cases, insurance companies will send reimbursement directly to you.
- In other cases, insurance companies may send reimbursement to our office.
- Regardless of where your insurance company sends your reimbursement, we will calculate all out-of-pocket costs for you & you are responsible for the difference between what your plan covers and Pocono Pines Dental fees.
- Because we are out-of-network, your out-of-pocket costs may be higher than when we were in-network.
We know this change may raise questions, and we are here to help you understand how it may affect your specific plan. Our team is happy to review your benefits with you and provide estimates before treatment. Please know that this decision allows us to continue focusing on the quality of care you deserve, rather than the restrictions set by insurance companies.
Thank you for trusting us with your dental care here at Pocono Pines Dental. Our goal has always been and will always be to provide the highest quality of care in a comfortable and supportive environment.
With gratitude,
John Mann, DMD Irina Melnik, DMD PPD Team
